"Boar's Head" for Yule
updated ?

At Yule, one of the carols we sing is The Boar's Head Carol, a 15th century song about a dish which is "bedeck'd with bays and rosemary." Our baronial Yule gathering is a potluck, so for our first year attending I was inspired by these 3 Pinterest pins to create a Boar's Head:
My version, on the left, is made of a spiral cut ham with grapes for eyes, crabapples, bay and rosemary on the side, ears made of ham slices, and mozzarella stick tusks (not shown). The grapes and mozzarella sticks were held in place using toothpicks.
